My Story.
My journey through life has been full of twists, turns, challenges, and opportunities. Upon enrolling at Northwest Missouri State University in the fall of 2008, I thought that I had the rest of my life figured out. I was sure that I was four years away from being a great high school vocal music teacher. But instead, at the beginning of my sophomore year, I took a leap of faith and tried something completely different from anything I had considered in the past and for which I had an unexplored passion.
After long consideration, I changed my major to Interactive Digital Media: New Media and, looking back, I wouldn't take back that decision for anything. This is what I really love and where I excel. Design, art, and marketing became my passion and I have fallen in love with the process of taking an idea and turning it into a product and brand. I graduated in April 2012, and shortly gained employment in the professional world where I love putting my skills and creativity to use. I'm excited to see how I can be used to influence design and media in the future and to see how the media industry will change and evolve over the coming decades.
